Smooth cloud migration
"don’t touch a running system'"– this was the customer’s request when commissioning us with the smooth migration and expansion of the existing IT infrastructure in the office-cloud. Firstly, the existing firewall was replaced by a modern security appliance based on the HW appliance Px10. This also had a redundant design in order to prevent any downtimes.

The connection to the office-cloud was thus implemented, meaning it was then possible to realize the new services and migration from the existing server without problems or interruptions in operation. At the same time, the file storage server was kept local for performance reasons and backed up via office-cloud backup. In line with requirements, the data back-up was made each hour, encrypted and securely transmitted off site.
