On behalf of a SME in the service sector, Prime Office created the complete docu­mentation for its IT environment including all related processes and responsibilities. In addition, a security check was carried out, and after weak points were identified, appropriate measures were defined and implemented.

  • Document the infrastructure – overview chart, responsibilities and systems; including setting up processes for regularly updating the documentation

  • Security check: identify weak points and initiate immediate measures; work out recommendations and priorities with the client and then implement them

Small companies generally employ internal IT support personnel or contract out such services externally. With this approach, strategic IT decisions, efficient cost controls and the targeted development of the IT infra­structure often do not receive the attention they deserve.
